OK, Pi works fine with Octoprint, But I kinda liking Repetier better in some ways. anyway, got it all up and running, but any time I go to start up the Pi/Printer, Repetier wont start up with the printer plugged in. Unplug printer, fire up PI, everything fine, plug in printer then, connects/works fine. restart, wont go till I unplug the printer again. not a power thing, I Checked all that, the Pi uses a "PI" power supply. Go back to Octoprint and no issues. I know everyone's going to say it's the PI or a power thing but it works fine with Octoprint which is generally more finicky about power. and the printer is on so it's not drawing off the PI to power the printer. Oh and if power off on printer and fire up with plugged in it fires right up. So "likely" not a hardware thing. I'm thinking there is some setting I'm missing in the confg somewhere?

Hi,
I'm using repetiert server on a Raspberry Pi 4 with a touchscreen. Works great so far. At this moment I'm using an Ender 3 and a Prusa Mini with the repetier server.
There are a few problems that I cannot explain.
1. If I stop printing via touchscreen while printing, the hotend, bed and Fans are still on the last values and didnt cool down or stop. Is this a normal behavior? I think for security reasons they should turn off when stopped!
2. If I changed babystep via the touchscreen the printer stops for a few seconds. Its very annoying on the Prusa Mini because the Mini Display didn't work corretly while printing via repetier server. On the Ender 3 I still can use the build in controls for babystep.
3. I always received an warning that the print did not fit on the print bed. This happend with files sliced with Prusa Slicer and Cura.

Moinmoin,
ich habe mal eine Frage zur Temperaturanzeige.
Wenn ich die Drucktemperatur auf 220C° einstelle (PETG) wird mir über Repetier Server nur 205C° angezeigt.
In der Druckersoftware ist #define HEATER_0_MAXTEMP 260 hinterlegt.
Ich konnte im Forum nix dazu finden.

Verbindung Repetier Server mit Anycubic (Marlin) Drucker geht verloren
Hallo.
Ich bin ein Neuling in Sachen Repetier Server ab nicht im 3D Druck. Ich habe Octoprint bis vor kurzem verwendet, bin aber jetzt zu Repetier-Server gewechselt. Das heißt, ich möchte gern! Aber ich kriege es nicht hin, den Anycubic Chiron damit zuverlässig anzusteuern.
Die Einrichtung des Druckers funktioniert gut, die Einstellungen werden vorgenommen und der Druckvorgang beginnt. Aber irgendwann bleibt er im Druck stecken, kühlt Hotend und Bett ab und trennt sich vom RepetierServer. Wiederverbindung nicht möglich, aber das Startsignal vom Drucker ertönt kontinuierlich. Auf dem Web Interface ist die Verbindung als getrennt dargestellt und lässt sich auch nicht wiederherstellen, der Drucker scheint dies aber zu versuchen, hörbar an der Startmelodie.

Einstellungen zu RTS / DTR schon durchgespielt, da gibt es nur eine die überhaupt funktioniert. Baudrate steht in Marlin FW und Verbindungseinstellungen auf 250000, USB Kabel ist auch schon gewechselt, keine Verbesserung. Wann die Kommunikation abbricht lässt sich nicht reproduzieren....
Gibt es iregndwelche Lösungsansätze?? Habe das Forum schon durchkämmt aber leider nichts gefunden was zu meinem Problem passt, weil der Drucker ja eben erstmal ansteuerbar ist und auch den Druck beginnt...

SET STATIC IP on 0.93.1

i'm trying to set the IP Address as Static on My raspberry. I have tried to do this in wlan/cable connection but when in this tab i cannot set other option rather than the Automatic DHCP acquisition of the IP address.
When i click on manual i cannot change the address nor any other option.
could you please provide some help? I need this feature when printing via VPN connection in my office, since my user profile re-routes to a specific IP address (i.e.10.168.17.241)

ich nutze seit kurzem das Cura-Plugin mit meinem Repetier Server Pro.
Leider muss ich bei jedem Neustart von Cura in den Druckereinstellungen "Connect Repetier" klicken, um nach dem Slicen direkt über Repetier drucken zu können. Gibt es hierfür evtl. eine Lösung?

I recently started using the Cura Plugin with my Repetier Server Pro.
Unfortunately i have to click "Connect Repetier" in the printer settings every time i restart Cura to be able to print directly via Repetier after slicing. Is there a solution for this?

Erster Layer = 2
Hi,
mir ist kürzlich aufgefallen, dass beim Drucken der RepetierServer und damit auch die Anzeige auf dem Drucker immer mit Layer 2 beginnt und es keinen Layer 1 gibt.
Also der Druck ist einwandfrei die Anzeige ist nur um Layer immer um 1 versetzt. Also es wird Layer 2 angezeigt obwohl die 1 gedruckt wird, usw.
Woran kann das liegen?

keine Webcam anwählbar
Hallo,
ich nutze seit zwei Tagen Repetier-server-pro 0.93.1-Dionysus-47 auf einem Pi4 32gb mit Pi Display.
Im Moment funktioniert das System, soweit ich das als Neuling beurteilen kann... bis auf die Webcam.
Laut Anleitung ist das Image für den PI für Cams vorkonfiguriert. Leider kann ich keinerlei Cam auswählen.
Was mir auf Fotos und Youtube-Videos aufgefallen ist, dass alle bei den Webcameinstellungen folgenden Satz stehen hatten.
" Ihr Computer ist vorkonfiguriert, um eine oder mehrere Webcams zu bedienen. Um diese zu nutzen, die Webcam aus der Liste wählen."
Bei mir ist das leider nicht der Fall. Hab ich das falsche Image geladen? Unter dem Link auf der Repetierseite hab ich nur das eine gefunden. Für eine hilfreiche Antwort wäre ich sehr dankbar.

Wie kann ich einen Weblink aufrufen wenn zB. der Druck-Job beendet ist, oder wie kann ich IFTTT einbinden? Dass man da Scripts hinterlegen kann habe ich verstanden, aber leider habe ich keine Ahnung wie ein solches Script aussehen muss. Gibt es da ev. Beispiele?

Server on RaspPi stops working/becomes corrupt after a few weeks.
I have been using Repetier-Server on a Raspberry pi for a few years now. Over the past year I have been having an issue with the install on Raspberry Pi 3B becoming corrupt. I have just been dealing with it, reinstalling and setting up Repetier-Server again from scratch when it happens. I Thought it might have been just an issue with my Raspberry Pi / SD Card. Earlier this year I got a couple new Raspberry Pi 3's and new 32GB sd cards. Have tried them in different configurations and they still seem to fail after a couple weeks.
What Happens:
-Server works fine for about 2-3 weeks.
-Server starts having issues staying operational. Get an error on raspberry pi screen saying "Oops I seem to have lost connection, trying to resolve issue now" (or something along those lines)
-Rebooting the pi fixes that issue.
-After rebooting the pi to fix the disconnet/crash/'Oops' issue several times, the raspberry pi will no longer boot into Repetier server, and will just sit at a terminal login screen.
Any suggestions?
Any way to quickly repair an install of repetier-server through terminal, or do I have to always just flash a new image?
Any way to find crash logs on my pi to provide better information?
Should I just give up on Raspberry Pi and get a computer running windows specifically for my printers?

JGAurora A5S Checksum error on Serial
Hi all,
This is the very first time I ask for help here, nevertheless I am going to try to be as specific as I can. I have the issue that I have connected my A5S printer to my OrangePI based Repetier server.
I can connect to the printer, the connection seems to be stable. I can control the printer, using the control view on the server side and so on.
However, when I come to the point to print with it, the printer starts printing but after ~5-10 secs it got halted. (Using 127 bytes input buffer on Serial) When I try to change the input buffer to 63, the only thing I got is additional 10secs, but after that it got halted again.
I have tried to debug it a bit, see the snapshot here
For me, it seems like the buffering on the Serial bus is incorrect, and after executing gcode, the checksums got shifted, so the calculation will be incorrect. I have tried to contact the JGAurora company itself, but they were not really helpful. I could not earn to talk to a competent guy, who could tell me how I should configure the Serial connection.
Does anybody had such an issue? Or is there anyone who has an idea how could I solve this particular issues?

Is it possible to run strictly the Repetier Server Monitor app on says something like a Rasp Pi?
The desktop apps are great, it'd be nice to have a simple monitor on a Pi with 5" display (HDMI) for example, where all the printers show and their state/status can be monitored over the network.

Filament sensor with Duet3d wifi
Hi,
currently i have the repetier server on a small micro PC running with 3 printers connected to it via USB.
One of them is a Prusa I3 MK3 with the latest filament sensor and its working perfectly, even when i'm printing something from the repetier server over USB.
Now i wanted to setup a filament sensor/monitor on one of my corexy printers, duet wifi + laser filament monitor/sensor from Duet3d.
But i read everywhere that this would not work.
is that correct? if yes, why?
whats different to the Prusa where its working?

3D printer firmware worked in Repetier Host cannot work in Repetier Server
Hello all! I am using a M3D printer with a 3rd party firmware named iME v00.00.01.25 (https://github.com/donovan6000/iMe). This firmware works totally fine in Repetier Host with the firmware type being set to Sprinter. However, I don't want to always connect my computer to the 3D printer. Therefore, I made use of an embedded development board (Xilinx PYNQ-Z1) and installed Ubuntu 18 system. (You can imagine it as a Raspberry Pi board, but it's different)
I installed the Repetier Server on it and connected the M3D printer to it. Repetier Server can also connect to the 3D printer. During setting up the printer, I notice there isn't "Sprinter" option in the firmware type setting. Then I randomly chose other firmware type. But no matter which firmware type, they all can't communicate to my 3D printer and yields "Unknown G-Code" error. I am curious, would it be possible for Sprinter firmware to be updated in the future version of Repetier Server? Or is there any method I can continue using this printer with my embedded board?

Cannot connect printer
Hi to all. I am new so please bear with me. I have Repetier Server Pro running on Pi. My Ender 3 Pro is up and running fine. However i cannot connect to my Geeetech A10M on Marlin 1.1.8. It connects fine with Octoprint and Repetier Host etc. I know the Baud is right and port is right and ive set the /dev/serial/by-path but comes back with error saying no understandable response on this port.
Any ideas?

Hi, by Filezilla i need to access on root folder on my raspberry where i've installed R-S.
When try open show a msg "Permission Denied". I use the raspberry defalut account to access.
What is the mode to access via ftp on this folder?

Advanced G-Code Event Generator
I've got a couple a printer with an auto bed level probe that I want to automatically run a level operation after the bed has warmed up. It looks like I should be able to use the Advanced G-Code Event Generator feature to accomplish this. After issuing the M190 command the printer firmware responds with "Slow command added:M190 S80" I've tried creating an event, with a regex of "Slow command added:M190 S[0-9]*" but it is not triggering the G-Code to be added. Can you please provide any advice on what I'm doing wrong or point me towards documentation that explains how to use the feature?

7inch touchscreen
i have a raspberry pi 3b with a raspberry 7 inch touchscreen and i have installed Repetier server on it which workes fine .
i
am connected to my printer from my pc and all is working except that my
touchscreen doesnt show repetier instead it boots to raspbberrys
desktop where the touch functions works fine.
what do i have to do to see repetiers "desktop"/buttons on that screen when i boot up the raspberry??

How can I send status about work finished with curl or something else? I mean, the Repetier server must send status to this, not the website, to request it. The initiator must be the Repetier Server
