No multiple webcams working

I've installed repetier-server pro (newest version)  today on an Intel Atom N280 with Ubuntu 17.04. Its a complete fresh install. After installed repetier i installed mjpg-streamer like u mension in the docs. 

Here's the problem. One webcam is working perfect without issues. But when i want to run a second webcam (for a different printer) it shows nothing. Also port :8081 is showing nothing. When i look in the settings of the printer there is a dropdown menu where i can switch between usb webcam 1 and usb webcam 2. But webcam 2 is not working because port 8081 is not reachable.

I also tried reinstalling ubuntu and doing everything from scratch. Same result.... Found an older thread with the same problem but the answer was that it was solved after he installed version 0.82. So that was an old problem...

API-URL für das Absenken der Plattform und Einziehen des Filaments

Hallo zusammen,


Nachdem ich nun den Repetier-Server seit geraumer Zeit mit meinem Ultimaker2+ laufen habe, bin ich nun dabei einen externen Filament Sensor zu bauen. Dieser soll via API den Druck ggf. anhalten. Das ist nach einiger Sucherei im Netz (leider wird das Pausen Kommando nicht in der FAQ beschrieben) nun problemlos möglich.

Wenn ich nun per Hand die Plattform absenke und dann über das Menü des Ultimakers einen Wechsel einleite, ist dieser mit einiger Verzögerung wegen Wechsel in den USB Modus möglich. Leider fährt der UM zunächst den Extruder auf X0 und Y0 somit muss ich zuvor der Plattform per Hand absenken. Glücklicherweise ist der Neustart nicht das Problem weil automatisch x y und z angepasst werden.

Somit verbleibt mein Problem nur das Absenken der Plattform und das Einziehen des Filaments, damit es keine Flecken auf dem Druck gibt. und genau hier liegt mein Problem. Ich denke was ich suche ist das "move" Kommando, welchem ich ja mitgeben kann was es machen soll. Nur leider bekomme ich das über die API nicht hin. Nach meinen Ansätzen mit dem Pausen Kommando müsste die URL etwa wie folgt aussehen:

192.168.8.8:3344/printer/api/Ultimaker_2?a=move&data=z20&apikey=177a3e07-1307-........

Ich bekomme von Server nur ein {} zurück aber machen tut er nichts.
Habe ich einen Denkfehler oder mache ich generell etwas falsch?

Rpi 3 and HDMI display

good day, i can ask how do i solve the problem between raspberry pi 3 and HDMI touch display, i mean by repetier server here: https://www.repetier-server.com/download-images/    i found a link for downloading the picture but there is a guide to smaller displays via GPIO i have a HDMI touch display 5 inch 800x480 thank you for help

Can't login when ussing HTTPS

Hi,

I've installed repetier server on a raspberry pi B+.
Everything works fine except when I try to connect using HTTPS.

The Pi is behind a reverse proxy. I've enable user account in repetier server.
I access to the Pi's local IP address (HTTP or HTTPS) I can enter my login/password and use repetier but if I access to the Pi public address using (only available with HTTPS) only the top navbar is available.

Repetier-Server randomly restart on RPi 2

I have Repetier-Serve 0.86.2 on the RPi 2 and I have problem with randomly restarts, practicaly I can't anything print, becouase in the test print object with 6 layers it's restarts. I was tried change power adapter (I have two 5V/3A) from my TV RPi 2 with OSMC, but it still restarting. and I have new 16GB micro SD card, but it's doing also with older 8GB micro SD card.

Actually I have trial Pro licence.

Have you anybody idea where should be problem, please?

Repetier Server Image v8 doesn’t work on Raspi 3 model B

Hello,

my raspberry 3 model B did not start with the actual image V8. A plain Rasperian boot, the repetier image not. I downloaded the image again, no success. 

Has anybody some hints?

License - Issue (Number of Licenses exceeded)

Hi, i'm working on a Raspeberry PI 3b and with Repetier 0.86.2 - (Image Repetier-Server-Image_0_86_2_v8) and also with a Windows-Version (0.86.2) but now it comes up that my Licenses will be exceeded. I'm very very sure that i've every time deleted the License before i've removed my Installations. This was done multiple times due to issues with my Hardware used (sometimes i've tried to use octoprint instead or a different Pi, ...).

How can i reset my Installations otherweise i'm not able to participate of the Performance of my Server for Speed (therefore i need the API-Access).

Repetier-Server won't communicate with printer

After doing a firmware update on my 3D printer I can no longer communicate with the printer through Repetier-Server. The printer appears to connect properly, but it won't recognize any commands. All I get in response to commands is 'Warning: Seems like we missed a ok - continue sending.'. When I connect directly via Repetier-Host everything works fine. I've checked the port assignment and the baud rate (same as for R-H) and it all looks good. I have rebooted the RPi running R-S, but to no avail.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Pi3 and adafruit 3.5 PiTFT not working

I´ve installed the last image  "Repetier-Server-Image_0_86_2_v8" and used the easy install from adafruit "https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-pitft-3-dot-5-touch-screen-for-raspberry-pi/easy-install-2"

But I can't put the TFT to work, the server works great using the pc browser but the TFT is always black , using the ssh terminal I can run the TFT test screen and calibration screen, and its working.

Is there any trick? anyone manage to put this TFT to work with repetier?

Note, if I plug an HDMI monitor to the Pi the application starts in the monitor, also the easy setup from adafruit modify the config.txt to start the TFT but it seams that is not working.

Webcams werden immer wieder falsch zugewiesen

Moin,
das Bandbreitenproblem von USB hab ich nun gelöst, jetzt hab ich allerdings das Problem das die Cams immer wieder falsch zugewiesen werden. 

Hab momentan 2 Drucker dran mit 2 Webcams. USB-Camera 1 an Drucker 1 und USB-Camera 2 and Drucker 2. Je nach laune des Servers stimmt das nach dem hochfahren, oder eben auch nicht. Manchmal ist USB-Camera 1 dann an Drucker 2 und umgekehrt. Geh ich allerdings in die Settings steht es dort richtig rum. Es scheint als würde er die USB-Cameras nach jedem booten wieder neuzuweisen an den jeweiligen USB-Port, was absolut sinnfrei ist weil ich ja nicht jedesmal die Cams wieder neu einstellen möchte. Erst recht wenn ich dann 5 Drucker dran habe.

Prints long then 8 hours will not finish with Repetier-Server on PI

I am running Repetier-Server Pro on a Raspberry PI with a 7" touch screen. When ever I have a print that is long then 8 hours the print finishes on  on the printer and the hot end, bed , and cooling fan all shut off, however Repetier-Server says there is still 6 seconds left. I can cancel the print, but it just puts the print in the queue and will not delete it form the queue or start a new print. The bad part is I am running three of these PI touch units with Repetier-Sever on them each controlling two printers, and no matter what printer or PI unit any print over 8 hours does this. The worst part is the only way to clear it up is to reboot the server and delete the print form the queue. Before you ask yes I have tried with only one printer attached and get the same result.

All three servers are Raspberry Pi 3's
The printer are:
AnyCubic Kossel
AnyCubic I3 Mega
Robo3D R1+
Prusa MK2S
Folgertech FT-5
Tevo Tornado

I use Simplify3d for slicing.

Hi,

i recently installed the Image for Raspi on a 32 GB (tested) Micro SD card. Now sliced prints (in Repetier Host) of about 26 MB (on Server) need about half an hour to appear on the Server (http frontend) which was not even a second on local host server. If i do transfer data to the raspi of about the same size it takes a few seconds so why do i have to wait that long? Can anybody help?

Excessive z axis movement at start.

When I begin a cnc cut with Repetier Server, the z axis moves upward nearly to full length of the axis. It then pauses for about 10 to 15 seconds and comes back down to begin the cut. This does not happen when I make a cut with Repetier Host. I am able to set the safe travel height of 5mm with Host after which the cnc starts the cut. I cannot find which setting in Server I need to make to correct this problem.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Daten (z.B. Verlauf, Druckereinstellungen, usw.) separat zu sichern?
Klar, man kann die ganze SD Karte sichern, lieber wäre mir eine separate Sicherung der Daten

After uploading g-code "it rotates" and takes forever (not ready to print)

Hi there,

when I am uploading an about 1 MB big gcode file (which is generated from Repetierhost with Slic3r), the upload time is normal and then the little rotating "working" icon apears and stays - the CPU is about 50% used from Repetier-Server. I wait for about 5 minutes - nothing happens it is rotating and not going to be ready to print. The CPU stays loaded at about 50 %. When I delete the file the CPU usage goes down. I tried it with several g-code files but only realy small and uncomplicated files are working and let me start with the print.
My g-code files are all in good condition and all printable with the normal Repetier-Host without any problems.
My machine is a Intel DualCore with 1.8 GHz rating, Running Windows 8.1 with about 2 GB Ram - until now it was fast enough for everything I've done in 3D printing.

Any ideas?

Purchase of Repetier Server Pro

Considering purchase of Pro version.  Does the downloaded version work on Raspberry PI 3?  Once purchased, how do I download the image file for Pro version?   Also when creating a new SD card, do I first need to load Raspbian on the card before loading Server Pro?

Importing Printer Settings from Repetier-Host

Hi.
I have Repetier host working and tuned nicely to drive my Tevo Black Widow.  I would like to bring those settings over to the server.. Not the other way around.
I have exported the registry as an XML and tried to import Printer Settings from the Server but no go.

Please - there must be an easier way to move your printers to the Server without retyping (and missing) parameters.

Repetier Server does not start UI interface after Touchscreen installation

Hi all,

today I tried to install a 5" Waveshare touchscreen on my Repetier Server and in principal it is working, but after installing the touchscreen driver the UI interface on my Pi isn't starting. Means it shows just the console. I can also reach it through the web interface but I would like to get the touch interface running. Does anybody has an Idea how to start the Repetier application again?
