HELLO,
we have a repetier server pro version. We are running the machine on smoothieware. Its a delta style machine.  We would like to add a temperature controller for heated chamber on the server as well as on the touch screen. The machine has two extruders and we are using custom pins to control the chamber. we need your help to add this controller on the server as we were not able to find any solution for this one

Repetier server 502 Bad Gateway error

I'm running Repetier server image on Raspberry Pi (version 0.85.2). There were some issues with the web interface, so I restarted the pi. Then after the reboot it couldn't find the printer and said there is some unknown printer connected. I tried configuring this unknown printer but it froze on Automatic settings import from firmware. I restarted the Pi again and after that it no longer works and shows 502 bad gateway error.

I tried starting in manually from the console and here is what I saw in output:

Reading printer config /var/lib/Repetier-Server/configs/OLP.xml
error: No element found in line 1 column 0
Starting printjob manager thread for unknown

I've checked the file size for OLP.xml and it was zero. So, it looks like if printer config file becomes empty (or damaged?)  the server crashes and no longer shows web interface. Deleting the empty file and restarting server helped (it stopped crashing and I could add and configure the printer again).

Upknown Printer after update to 0.85.2

I have RS running two printers. After updating to 0.85.2 (from 0.80.3), I ran a print on one of them. When the print was done, the printer now shows as "Unknown Printer" instead of its usual name. I ran a print on the other printer next, now that one shows "Unknown Printer". Rebooted everything, still shows the same. I can't seem to get the server to recognize the printers.
Any suggestions?

Domain redirection using apache not working properly

Hi,

I'm running repetier-server 0.80.1 on my raspberry. Everything works well. But now I want to access the interface from the outside. I have created a domain and as I have several domain on the same server I use apache making the right redirection.

I have created a new vhost like this:

<VirtualHost *:80>
ServerName 3dprint-xxxx.ml

RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP:CONNECTION} Upgrade [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP:UPGRADE} websocket [NC]
RewriteRule /(.*) ws://localhost:3344/%1 [P,L]

ProxyRequests off
<Location />
    ProxyPass http://127.0.0.1:3344/
    ProxyPassReverse /
</Location>

</VirtualHost>

It looks like something is not well set as when I load the interface I only have the top frame, without the possibility to login.

result can be seen here : http://3dprint-mathlab.ml
Any idea?

Thanks
Math

Kein sichtbarer Mauspfeil

Hallo,

Vielen Dank

I've been getting this on a number of prints when I use a raft. the print goes and starts up normally and then will fail at some point in the raft. Once it hits the communication timeout the job is failed. I'm running smoothieware on an Azteeg X5 GT.

Gruppen lassen sich nicht löschen

Hallo,

Server: Raspberry Pi

Client: Mac-OS mit Firefox und Safari getestet

Pause problem by sending "M25"

Dear Engineer,
I wish to home X and Y after pause,
so in the configuration.h,  #define PAUSE_START_COMMANDS "G28 XY"

I send the command "M25" to the printer, it stoped as usual, but didn't go home, after I send "M24", it back to print again.
Where might be the problem?
Thank you in advance.

Is it possible to "remove the lag" between display and printer?

Hi all,

so the impatient printer-admin decides to give <Speed> a bump (possible reasons: too conservative settings in <slicer>, "da geht noch mehr!")

With my current printer -xBot 150 from reprap.cc hence my username- this ain't so bad (BufSize 16, X/Y-MAX ~130) but it's still noticeable that <display> shows the new speed way before the printer actually picks up "the new speed".

Now, I'm "beinahe fertig" with my new and somewhat bigger printer (X/Y ~400mm) and me thinks this is going to hurt somewhat because with long movements (think brim nearly maxing out the bed) with a buffer of 16 might run some time before the new speed actually is in action and this is quite "mühsam" 'cos one never knows whether the extruder starts losing steps at 140% (or are we at 160% already?) or there's something completely different going astray right now (warped bed, miscalibration and so on...)

Am I talking out of my posterior here or is this something that can (and possibly will, who knows ;-)) be addressed by RS / RH?

current setup:
Printer xBot 150
RAMPS 1.4 / repetier-firmware + Display
RS <latest> on raspberry pi 3
RH <latest> on Win7 (or Linux as soon I can figure out how to transfer slicer-settings from here to there without getting a headache and/or spending more time faffing around with <OS | Application> instead of actually printing something)

Thanks in advance & a big *thumbs up* for your work!

Updated to latest 0.86.2 on RPi3 (14.Aug.17) - BAD GATEWAY / REFUSE TO CONNECT?

Hi all,

Just autoupdated to RepServer 0.86.2 and something weird has happened. I waited for a while for it to update and then when I rebooted, it just gave me 502 Bad Gateway from the web interface. I plugged a monitor up to it to see if it would boot into the interface, but instead, it just says "127.0.0.1 Refused to Connect"

Any ideas on what could be going on?

External Server command on Rpi not working

Hey Everyone
Im new to Repetier Server and working with Raspberry Pi.

I got my Server up and running.
I want to setup an Relays, with which I can turn on my 3D Printer (switching the power of the USB connection via the relay)

I know that it is possible to define custom commands, which can be accessed from the webinterface.

So I edited the extcommands.xml to add two aditional commands:
___________________________________________
<command>
<name>Turn Printer ON</name>
<execute>bash /home/pi/scripts/rampsOn.sh</execute>
<confirm>Do you really want to turn ON the Controller?</confirm>
</command>

<command>
<name>Turn Printer OFF</name>
<execute>bash /home/pi/scripts/rampsOff.sh</execute>
<confirm>Do you really want to turn OFF the Controller?</confirm>
</command>
_____________________________________________
 and I put the corresponding scipts in the /home/pi/scripts folder:

rampsOn.sh:
---------------------------
#!/bin bash

gpio -g mode  24 out
gpio -g write 24  1
---------------------------

rampsOff.sh:
---------------------------
#!/bin bash

gpio -g mode  24 out
gpio -g write 24  0
---------------------------

I can start the commands from the webinterface and they also show up in the log:
17:53:48: Starting external command bash with 1 parameters.

I cant see the problem, but If I mesure the voltage between GPIO 24 and GND I get 0V , no matter what I do (I expect 3.3V)

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thanks a lot in Advance ;)

Camera's for extra printers

Hi everyone,
I'm rather new to Repetier server, and  I'm running Repetier-Server Pro 0.86.2 on a raspberry pi 3 with 7" touchscreen, to control 3 3D printers.
This means that already 3 USB ports are taken for the 3 printers, leaving the pi camera port, 1 more USB port and IP camera's as possible solution, since I would like a camera per printer.
The pi camera works fine, but I can't get the USB camera to work, although it shows up in the list to select and I have a -video0 in the /dev list when I connect via the SSH client, for the USB camera.
I was planning to add a few IP camera's. For this I had a few raspberry pi zero's with wifi, running motionEyeOS.
They work fine when you type the IP address in a browser and log-in, but I have no idea how the add them as extra camera's to Repetier -Server or if that is at all possible.
Any thoughts on how to connect them?
Thanks in advance for your help

External commands run before print is finished?

$

Hi everyone,

I wrote a .py script (printerOff) as per the external commands instructions to toggle a relay attached to my Rasppi, works great to turn the printer off with button click in the Repetier Server menu.  Additionally in the extcommands.xml I added a <execute> command and confirmed that it also works when I manually enter "@execute printerOff" in the gcode console.

When I add @execute printerOff into the "run after job" section of the event dependent gcodes section, the printer shuts off before the last layer is completely finished, and the still hot remains on the part although my end script in Simplfy3d as follows:

M104 S0 ; turn off extruder

M140 S0 ; turn off bed

G1 X0 Y200 F2400 ; prepare for part removal

M84 ; disable motors

M106 S0 ; Turn off Part Fan

When I take out the @execute script from Repetier Server the print finished and the nozzle and bed finish their end movements. I have even tried putting in: G4 S60, in both Simplfy3d and the "run after job" section in Repetier Server to see if a delay would help but the printer still shuts a few seconds before the last layer is finished.

Anyone have any tips?

Thank and regards,

Jay

Print job not completing properly

$

I have repetier-server 0.86.2 running on an RPi Zero driving my prusa i3 clone printer (running Marlin firmware.) Printing appears to work well, except the print job never finishes properly - it gets stuck at about 99% completion. The extruder returns to the park position and the extruder heater turns off, but the heated bed remains on, and the printer will not accept any manual commands or a force stop command. My only recourse is to turn off the bed heater manually via the LCD control panel on the printer and then cycle the power on the printer.
The print job using the same gcode prints and finishes correctly in Repetier-Host with the printer directly connected via serial connection (i.e. not via repetier-server.)
I suspect that I am missing some termination gcode commands, but I am not sure what.
Has anyone else had a similar issue, or has some tips on what to do to rectify it?

dnsmasq error on raspberry pi b+

I have flashed the latest image to the raspberry pi and I keep getting these errors when booting. I am then brought to a browser screen saying 127.0.0.1 refused to connect. I am connected through ethernet and I am using the HDMI port. I am able to ping the pi successfully on my network.
