How to transfer from one pi to another?

Hi! I am trying to transfer from an old Pi B (original 2 USB) to a newer Pi 2. I have installed Repetier Server on the Pi 2 (using Jessie as the OS). The server is running fine, but how can I transfer all the models etc over to the new Pi?

I have tried copying /usr/local/Repetier-Server to the new Pi but it hasn't worked. Not sure what else to do?

Switching from Host to Server

I've had my Printrbot Simple Metal for two years now and I love it. All that time I have been using Repeater-Host for mac with slic3r. I thought it was time to upgrade. Everything was going fine until I tried printing something. All of the manual controls work fine. But when I try printing something I keep getting these errors:


18:52:56.-485: Error:Line Number is not Last Line Number+1, Last Line: 76
18:52:56.-407: Resend: 77

I have tried looking it up but I couldn't find anything. I was wondering if anybody knew what is going on. If you need to know more information let me know. Thank you.

Server won't start - .net error 1026

I had this installed on an old laptop and was working fine. Then the laptop died, so reinstalled on a fresh install of windows. Now when I try to start the server, I get the following in the event log:

I verified the .net installation and reinstalled the server. Any other ideas to try?  Thanks!

Not working Calling External Commands on 0.75.1

I'm using the latest beta version 0.75.1 on a Raspberry PI3 and I am trying to configure Calling External Commands to turn on and off the printer from the GPIO.

I've done step by step everything that comes in the documentation and every time I think the RepetierServer-extra.xml file, the server will not start.

I've looked at the logs and no information of what may be happening. No matter the content of the file, even empty failure.

I do not know what else to do, is a nuisance ssh access each time you turn on the printer.

How do I remove repeater server from my OS X machine.

I tried the free server version but for now I think I will stick with a simpler Repetier Host setup and hope for a newer version soon.

However I can't find out how to uninstall the server background software....I can stop it from the command line but I would prefer
to just removed it from my machine.

cant see stored files on server

Hi, I run repetier-server on a raspberry pi.  For some reason all my files stored on the server no longer show up in Repetier-host or via the web interface for Repetier server.  I can not send any new files to the server either, no error, just nothing happens.  I have full manual control of the printer though. Any clues to what to do next other than completely reformatting my Raspberry pi server?

Hi,

I would install repeater server in a PI3 with noobs, 
i have always the same errors after 2 news reinstall his always the same errors (under the message the terminal text i cut a part the body is too long )  :

if someone have an idea ???

Webcam install raspberry pi3

Hello,

After some pb to install repeater server for a pb of SD card ( see other post ) 
 i config my printer , at the configuration for webcam ( i do this :https://www.repetier-server.com/setting-webcam-repetier-server-linux/ )
i have a problem at the step 4 ( step 1 and 2 is ok ):  
pi@raspberrypi:~/mjpg-streamer/mjpg-streamer-experimental $ cmake -G "Unix Makefiles"

-bash: cmake : commande introuvable


if a people have an idea ??

Something cant count

Hi 
I am using Repetier-server with Repetier-firmware running on a Radds board.
Something cant count, all was fine until i purchased a licence for the server, now if i get a layer count its wrong (usually 1 or 2 layers out) but most of the time it is on layer 0 of however many layers. 
The reported Z height is correct.
I usually keep the slicer software open and when passing see how it is going and look for the next changes. I can do this with height but it would be nice to know what layer it is on.

repetier server stops working during print

my (overclocked) raspberry b +  has a 0.60.3 server running on it, and this server tends to stop sending commands to the printers during a print.

in the beginning (first 3 weeks) everything with the server worked, but now it aborts every print i try after 2 hours +
i changed nothing, this started without my influence.

the last print was a 13 h print and it stopped in the last 40 minutes, 180 meters filament wasted....
this happened more than once.
after it did this, i reinstalled the raspberry from scratch with a new micro sd card, but it keeps aborting the print on a random position.

i changed the LAN and USB cables of the server but nothing changed. the pi also has no cpu overload or anything like this it cpu usage is always below 20% during print.


after a print was ruined by the server, i can stop it in the interface and start a new one and the server works again for 1-2 hours until it stops again, freezing on a position on the print object. extruder as well as the bed keeps powered but no move commands reach the printer any longer. 
the server gets slowed down sending commands to the printer and gets slower and slower until the printer begins to stutter (waiting for next command) and stops finally.

what can i do? this is a annoying issue, especially because it stops at a random position. i dont want to waste more filament on this.

Raspberry PI and webcam

I have been using repetier host for a while and decided to upgrade to a raspberry pi dedicated server.  Everything has gone well and I installed the webcam according to everything I found.  I can access both stream and still from another PC but inside of the repetier page I receive a picture of a webcam with a circle and line through it.  I figured it may be due to not having a license but the page says all features are open in beta and a license isn't required yet?

Any ideas?

Also to make sure I didn't type in the address incorrectly I did copy and paste from my settings to another tab to test.

Server commands reset and delays

Hello,

Im running RS on Pi3 when i set the bed or extruder temperature by typing in a number it resets to zero after 60 seconds?

If i stop a print it takes a long time for the machine to stop even tho the values have changed back to zero?

I'm trying to configure the touchscreen but best I can tell for Raspberry Pi you only support 800x600 minimum resolution?  I was trying to get a 3.5 480x320 to work but haven't had any luck,  seems like there isn't a html file for that?  Do I just need to get a larger screen?

Repetier Server Connection is Ok, but printer seen offline

Hi Friends,

Firstly i use Arduino DUE, Ramps-FD and Orrange Pi. This combination is work with repetier host. 

Now i would like to use Arduino Mega R3 + Ramps 1.4 + Orrange Pi. This combination have problem repetier server online, (can be connection) but printer seen offline. 

I tested Marlin and Repetier Firmware but i can't found a problem. Can they help me. (So sorry bad English :()

ffmpeg version problem with raspberry pi2

Hi,
I'm using RPi2 for my Repetier-Server. All working fine but I'm not able to use timelape.

I know ffmpeg versione on Rpi is old so I downloaded ffmpeg from website.

I try to compile it but I receive an error on option "concat" which is unavailable.

I only enable option --enable-gpl --enable-libx264. There is any other option I need to activate?

Can you provide the full configure options I need to apply to build the right ffmpeg version.

I downloaded last one on ffmpeg website which newer than 1.1 required.

I have just finished building a new printer, I have a radds 1.5 control and have set it up in as far as i can remember exactly the same way as i set the last one up.
