XYZ Jogging is not working the way it should.

Hello,

I have just installed the Latest Repetier Server on a Windows 10 machine and connected to the Delta Rostock Max2 machine controlled by a Smoothieboard.  Everything is working fine except the jogging control.  If I want to move my z by 1mm down, it does not stop and brings the hotend all the way down to the bed.  In fact I have to power the printer off otherwise it will damage the glass.  I tried 0.1, 1, 10 and 100 all with the same result.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Server AutoUpdate - RPI

Hi, I get an error when updating the server running on Raspberry Pi v0.60.4 -> 0.65
It starts to download and update, but always gets stuck with error: "checksum does not match server checksum - aborted"
Previous update installed correctly.

Any ideas how to solve this?

can only access server locally on server computer

Im using duck dns and and when I try to use the address it gives me it doesnt exist or it brings me to my router control panel. Ive forwarded 2000 and 3344 with TCP

Server won't run on windows xp!

Hello, I am trying to run repetier server on my xp server. It installs but won't run! It crashes when I start the server! I have tried on two different servers and a virtual machine on windows 7. It crashes on all 3 of the XP boxes! I have also tried old versions of the server software with no luck! Doesn't repetier-server work on XP? Has anyone got sugestions please?

"Software Power" option

Can someone explain how the Software Power option in the printer -> features section works?  I cant find any documentation about it.

What Id like to be able to do is to use the GPIO(s) on my linux board to turn the power on and off to my printer.  (ie before i start a print, and after it is done)  Ive got a transistor switch hooked up into the power switch, which when testing works fine.  To modify the GPIO values, it requires console access, so i can write bash scripts to power the GPIO on and off to do this, and then use the @execute and extcommands.xml to accomplish this, but can these execute commands be bound to the 'power on' and 'power off' procedures from the Software Power option?

TL;DR: What does the Software Power option do?

Webcam

I recently installed a webcam and it is working fine on the host pc. When connecting with another machine, on the local network it works, but if I connect from outside my network it doesn't. I can print and all that so my connection is good, but no webcam image.
Any pointers.

Auto Leveling

Hi,
  I have a problem with the AutoLeveling fonction on my Prusa.
  When I works from Repeter Host directely connected to my Prusa by USB, this fonction works fine with the folowing code at the begining :
M104 S200 ; set temperature
G91 ; Coord en relatif
G1 Z20 ; remonter Z de 20mm
G90 ; Coord absolue
G28 ; Homing XYZ
G29; Auto Leveling
M500; enregistrer les paramètres dans l'EEPROM
M109 S200 ; wait for temperature to be reached
G21 ; set units to millimeters
G90 ; use absolute coordinates
M82 ; use absolute distances for extrusion

When I works with Repetier Server the code G29 do not appear in the log of the command send to the printer (>Console Screen with Commande ON).
I have add the following code in the printer configuration in the section "Run Before Job"

G28 ; Homing XYZ

but without success.

Connect to Repetier-Server from a Mac running Host .56?

Hi Everyone,
 I have been using the Mac OS X Repetier-Host .56 for a few days and it works fantastic when connected directly to the printer via USB. Now i would like to move my setup over to a stand alone machine running Ubuntu and Repetier-Server and then connect to it from my Mac running Repetier-Host so I can slice and print from there. 

I have had no problems getting the server setup and connected to the printer, everything runs fine. But I can't find how to setup the Host printer connection on my Mac to use the Repetier-Server as the printer. When I go to Printer Settings, there is no option for "Repetier-Server". Only the local USB or serial connections or "Virtual Printer." 

Is it possible?

How to do proxying Repetier-Server with nginx? (Repetier-Host connection issues)

I have Repetier-Server installed on a Raspberry Pi. I would like to proxy Repetier-Server with nginx due to some advanced restrictions and security policies I have to implement (e.g. https, source address restrictions, logging). I successfully managed to get the browser user interface working (including WebSockets). Unfortunately I did not get managed to connect Repetier-Host to Repetier-Server. Again: the Repetier-Server browser user interface works fine.

How to configure nginx proxy to make Repetier-Host able to reach Repetier-Server?

com port not detected

Hello, I have looked and looked and can not find a resolution to my issue. I have a Davinci 2.0 running latest Repetier firmware, a Windows 8.1 laptop and a Beagle bone black rev c (Debian 8)  wifi setup. 

I am trying to connect to the printer using Windows installation of  Repetier Server.

My steps are to ssh into BBB, start the server and attempt to add the printer. RS will not see my printers com port which is com3 and the baud rate set to autodetect. I have tried setting separate baud rates as well with no luck. The printer is connected to the BBB via a usb hub. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Manual control X/Y erratic behaviour

Hi

I just found the following erratic behaviour on the manual X/Y control (on Raspberry PI gui w/ Renkforce RF1000)

I've homed all axes. For this example, I've set 10mm (happens on different values also)

- X position is 0
- I press "right"
- Extruder moves 10mm right
- I press "right"
- Extruder moves 20mm right
- I press "right"
- Extruder moves 30mm right (while X value on screen is now 30, Extrudes has moved 50mm)
- I press "left"
- Extruder moves 20mm right (shown X now 20, Extruder position now 70mm)
- I press "left"
- Extruder moves 10mm right (shown X now 10, Extruder position now 80mm)
- I press "left"
- Extruder doesn't move (shown X now 0, Extruder position still 80mm)
- I press "left"
- Extruder moves 10mm left (shown X remains 0, Extruder position now 70mm)
- I press "left"
- Extruder moves 10mm left (shown X remains 0, Extruder position now 60mm)

Continuing pressing X left acts normal, extruder moves always 10mm.
Pressing X right again and things start over.

Same behaviour on Y axis, while Z axis seem to operate normal

Connection problem after upgrading to 0.70

I have two equal printers with motherboard Andciv CM3E 3D. I had problems with connection also with server version 0.65 but after installing new Windows 7 computer I almost get rid of those problems. Sometimes still the connection broke after 2-3h printing time.

I installed new server version 0.70 and now the symptoms got much worse. After starting a new job, printer stops in few seconds without any information in log file. Server keeps "green" but cannot control the printer (for example "move" commands do not have any effect). If I disconnect usb cable and reconnect connection becomes back.

I have tried with different baud rates but it doesn't help. 115200 and 76800 seem to function best in version 0.65. Also tried larger buffer and communication timeout (90)  Have to mention that on printers side the baud rate seem to be 100.000. Motherboard always resets baud to this after booting the printer. Repetier Server doesn't have this baudrate option in baud rate list. However I tried to change the baud rate to 100000 manually in configuration file but couldn't get any contact to the printer.

This connection problem must be some kind of compatibility issue between Repetier Server and my motherboard. I don't have any connection issues with other software (for example Simplify 3D).

Otherwise I love concept of Repetier Server if I just could achieve trusted connection. I hope we could solve this problem somehow.

over time my free space has dropped to now ~70mb

are this prints that take up space and so where on webpage for repetier server do i delete all temp files


on a raspberry pi but this should be a function on the webpage

Time Lapse on Repetier-Server 0.70.0 on Raspberry Pi

I've got Repetier-server set up and it's capturing images from mjpeg-streamer. I can step through them in the web interface. However the time lapse videos it lists in the interface are zero byte and won't play. I have ffmpeg installed, but is there a certain plugin I should be using or a setting I need to update to get it to generate proper time lapse videos? Is there a way to test or a log fine I could look at to see what's happening? Any help getting me pointed in the right direction would be appreciated..

Your changelog appears to be a little bit outdated. So I'm wondering whats new since 0.65 and if it is worth updating.

Call python script in extcommands.xml

Hi
I have 0.65.0 running on an RPI and want to call a python script from within the extcommands.xml. The corrosponding section looks like this:

<command>
     <name>Switch Relay</name>
     <execute>sudo /var/lib/Repetier-Server/database/relay.py</execute>
</command>


I also added:

repetierserver ALL=NOPASSWD: /usr/bin/python

to /etc/sudoers.d, but when I finally tap on the button, nothing happens. Other commands work fine, just these python related won't work. When I execute /var/lib/Repetier-Server/database/relay.py from bash, it works fine.

I'm not very familiar with linux, so I have any clue whats going wrong here. Any hints?

How do I verify that I am connected, after I hit connect and tab goes green. Don't thing my print files don't get sent. Can not get my first print
